Okay.......here I am! I ran into a very good friend whom I haven't seen in a WHILE today and she reminded me that I needed to blog, so, Johnna, HERE I AM! hahaha

My year definitely started with a BANG! My daughter had twin boys...... Kylon Gage Gardner- 5 lbs. 6 oz. 17 3/4 in. and Kameron Garret Gardner- 5 lbs. 13 oz. 19 in. They are
precious! Their sister, Mikenlee, will be 5 in March and she thinks they belong soley to her!
I'm sure she'll change her mind in a few years.

Stetson, my 5 mth. old grandson, was in the hospital for 3 days last week and I stayed
there with him and his Mom. That's a REAL challenge trying to keep a 5 mth. old subdued!
They had cords going EVERYWHERE to monitor EVERYTHING! THEN, every so often they would come in to suction him out (SO MUCH FUN!). I'm just glad it's over and he is much better!

So, I now have 5 grandchildren! Everyone is right when they say GRANDPARENTING is
much more fun than PARENTING! I never thought I could love a child as much as I love my own but I guess I was wrong!

Christmas 2008

What a busy time! We love spending time with our family and its only just begun! We have 5 children and 3 grandchildren (soon to be 5) and hopefully many more to come! The Lord has been good to us and blessed us with much. I can hardly wait to see him face to face (but I want to see all my grandchildren first)!
We went to my brother's Christmas Eve and had a wonderful time. They have a beautiful home! My sister-in-law (Lisa) is a very gracious person and I love them both with all my heart.
They have 3 super boys; Zach 13, Connor 9, and Landry 4. I missed seeing my Papa this Christmas but I am going go see him tomorrow.
We went to Michael's grandmother's (Nannie's) for lunch and spent time with his sisters, Aunt & Uncle, cousins and Nannie. We all miss his Papaw! We also missed his Mom and step-dad
this year. They decided to spend time at home.
Our children all came Christmas Day and we opened presents and ate supper. I love cooking
for them! Matt is 25, a helicoptor pilot, and lives in Missouri. Brennon will be 25 in Feb., works on the wind tours in Kansas and has a 4 month old son, Stetson who lives in Abilene. Ashley, Brennon's girlfriend, also has a 6 year old son, Blaze. I just adore BOTH boys! Amy is 23 and married to a WONDERFUL young man, Matt (very confusing). They live in Washington where Matt is stationed in the Army. Britta is 22, stay-at-home Mom, with twins due Feb. 12th. She has a 4 year old, Mikenlee, and will soon have 2 boys Kylon and Kameron. Her boyfriend, Clint, is a good-hearted young man and has been with her since before Mikenlee was born. He just needs a JOB! He has his CDL and hopefully will find work THIS YEAR!!!!! Dylan is 14 and attends Paint Creek. He loves to play video games (too much) and football.
New Years was spent at my parents house eating and watching movies. We were at home asleep by 11:00 pm. ( I guess we're getting OLD). My Dad has prostate cancer which will hopefully be remedied with radiation or surgery on Jan. 6th. I pray for him and my Mom daily so it's all in God's hands!
I wish all who reads this a happy, healthy and BLESSED New Year! Keep God FIRST and everything else with fall into place!
